As I sat under lush green trees,
The rays seem to bloom my knees,
Through the leaves they fall on me,
Synthesizing each and every hope that I plea.
I see a bright green apple in front of me,
Temping me to extract each and every
Corner I see.
My mind couldn’t control my feet,
Eager I walked restless I was being.
The very thought of the juicy fruit inside it raised my hopes,
Each and every second looked like a million years to go.
Distance were shortened and finally I reached,
Gazing upon the fruit that I so longed to eat.
As soon as I felt the lush green fruit,
A million volts rushed through my throat.
The sky was filled with dark stormy clouds,
And the bright sunny day was nowhere to found.
When I gazed back at the trees,
Barren land was all I can see.
Startled I was.. unknowingly I crawled,
With thorns plunging in as I fleet.
As I looked the apple in my hand,
Full of insects was all it had.
The very look of it gave me the creeps.
Threw it away and I was left to weep.
Never I have felt so hopeless before,
My body was week and mind was sour.
With predators flinging over my head,
The disease in me moves to spread.
As the last breath rushed through me,
The only thing I thought were the days when I was free.
I plea to the lord to have mercy on me,
Pain was the only thing he wished for me.

sorry for late reply… well it signifies that what you see is not always real…. it may be a deception and the real thing might be on the contrary to your assumption…
